Afrykański Bank Rozwoju, przy finansowym wsparciu Unii Europejskiej, rozpoczął pod koniec grudnia ub.r. gromadzenie danych na temat cen żywności na kontynencie afrykańskim.
Baza danych obejmuje 50 krajów i aktualizowane co tydzień ceny kilkudziesięciu artykułów rolno-spożywczych. Jest ona dostępna pod adresem: http://africafoodprices.io/
This is an initiative of the African Development Bank’s Statistics Department and the European Commission’s Joint Research Center, in partnership with Knoema. Its main objective is to collect weekly price data on various agricultural products, including cereals, meat, fish, vegetables, oils, fruits, dairy products and other food items in Africa, using modern technologies and crowd sourcing techniques. The data so collected has been compiled into a comprehensive and up-to-date commodity price dataset which can be accessed free of charge on this site.
